The Eastmax Group is completing a project to supply a comprehensive equipment complex for the production of rectangular air ducts and ventilation fittings to a Russian customer in the Rostov region.
Rectangular air ducts are used for organizing ventilation, smoke removal, and air conditioning systems in residential and industrial premises, healthcare institutions, educational buildings, shopping, and entertainment centers. The products manufactured on this equipment feature the option to choose the type of lock formed by the seam rolling machine – either the Pittsburgh lock or the Snap lock. In recent years, the technology for manufacturing air ducts with an integrated TDF flange, which allows the finished products to achieve higher levels of tightness and rigidity, has been particularly popular. Production using this technology is also carried out on this equipment.
The line we supplied consists of the following units and components: a coil decoiler station, a device for leveling and creating stiffening ribs, angle and rectangular notch installations, a hydraulic guillotine cutter, several transfer platforms, devices for punching flange and center holes, 2 seam rolling machines with interchangeable rollers, a flange forming device, and a pneumatic bending station.
This highly automated line is equipped with hydraulic, electric, and pneumatic drives, and is controlled via a remote control panel with a touch-screen display. All software is provided in Russian. The main characteristics of the line include:

In addition to the production line for straight sections of air ducts, this delivery also includes several individual machines necessary for the production of ventilation fittings. This equipment set includes: a Snap Lock seam rolling machine, a flange forming device from a common plate, a hydraulic vertical locking (connecting) machine, a corner pressing machine, a pneumatic bending station, and a corner punching press.

The equipment is in the final stage of production. In February-March 2024, acceptance of the finished line and other machines by our company's technical specialists, together with the client's company, is planned.
